Dear Church Family,
This past Sunday morning, we had 171 on campus and 38 families join us though live stream. Depending on how many chairs are taking up space between families, we have room to safely seat around 250. So, we still have some room to grow with the seating as is. We can also offer overflow seating in the foyer.
This coming Sunday, May, 31st, we plan to designate the choir room as a seating option for our at-risk population with a large screen for the live stream. You can park by the gym, walk up the ramp, and go right in the glass door entrance by the choir room. Pierce Gibson, our Youth Minister and Associate Pastor, will be in the choir room with you worshiping and managing the live stream. We are simply providing this as an option for those of you who are among the at-risk population, and would like to worship on campus, but would rather not be in the larger crowd.
Also, we continue to work on the live stream. We had an outside company host it this past Sunday and are waiting for some needed parts to come in that have been backordered due to increase demand. YouTube appears to be the best option for the live stream and we should be able to send out a link for that later this week.
This coming Sunday will be an exciting time together. We plan to have Aaron Durham back leading music, Justin Hayes will be here representing The Fostering Collective, and we will have a special Pentecost message followed by the Lord’s Supper. We will have individually wrapped Lord’s Supper packets by the entrances, and don’t forget that you can pick them up today (Thursday) at the church office if you plan to stay home Sunday.
Lord willing, I will see you again soon!
