Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for God’s glory.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31

The FBC Liberty City Youth Ministry has a great team of adult and student leaders that work together in this ministry to students.  “For the glory of God alone” is our church vision statement and the framework by which we take up this calling. Whatever we do to meet the needs of area middle and high school students, we want it to be worthy of offering “Straight Up” to God for His glory.  Our desire is to equip and empower students to become as much like Christ as they can.  To that end, we offer the following programs of ministry to students each week:

Sunday School

Family Life

Each Sunday morning, we gather for Sunday school with the focus being God's Word applied to our lives.  We deal with different scriptural themes on a rotational basis, always seeking to grow young believers and their parents with the truths of what God has told us in the Bible.

6th Grade | Rm 112 - Gym | Jay & Melissa Florence

7th - 8th Grade | Gym – 204| Clark & Cristi Langley

9th - 12th Grade | Gym - 201| Doug & Malisa Morgan

Parents | Gym - Upstairs | Various Teachers

Our midweek programs, Straight Up Youth & FUSE, are designed to attract students in order to teach them the truths of God’s Word.  We communicate with students how much God loves them and how desperately they need Him in their lives.  Socialization and recreation are also great needs in the lives of students.  These are addressed with plenty of time for recreation, games, and hanging out.  From dynamic worship to large group Bible study and small group discussion to just hanging out, Straight Up Wednesday nights target students with God’s Word, taught in a relevant way with adult leaders that love Jesus and kids.
