DR. PAUL MICHAEL VACCA / PASTOR
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Paul Michael holds two degrees from The Criswell College and is graduating with a Ph.D. from Southwestern Seminary this coming December. Since surrendering to vocational ministry in 1999, he has served in Texas churches and has been a missions strategist both in the United States and internationally. He has also been an Adjunct Preaching Professor at The Criswell College and is a contributing writer for Preaching.com. Married in 2003, Paul Michael and Katie have four children. Paul Michael is passionate about preaching the Word of God and seeing lives transformed by the grace of God. He enjoys fishing, especially kayak fishing, as well as shooting sports of all types.
DON PARDOE / MINISTER OF MUSIC AND SENIOR ADULTS
Don was born in Houston, TX and lived in the Houston area until moving to Tyler at age 14. Early on God had given him a love for music. He began playing piano at age 3 by ear and continued developing that gift throughout his life. He received formal education through Arlington Baptist University with a major in Biblical Studies and a minor in Music. Don travelled doing concert ministry for the next 25 years of his life performing in all 50 states and several foreign countries. During that time he met his wife Michelle and married in 1985. They lived in Nashville, TN and Leesburg, VA for several years before moving back to East Texas in 2003. They have three children, two who are married, and one Granddaughter. Don has served in local church ministry for the past 14 years. Don is passionate about music, the impact it has in communicating the Gospel, and the unique ability it has to unify and edify the body of Christ. In his free time he enjoys writing, recording, and running as many miles as his schedule will allow.
LANE EATON / ADMINISTRATOR
Lane joined the FBCLC staff in 2013, coming from a manager position after fifteen years in the oil industry. His church responsibilities include management of facilities, vehicles, finances, and other business aspects of FBCLC; overseeing the preschool ministry of the church, including Mother's Day Out and facilitating the Crisis Ministry of the church to those in need, within both church and community. He is also actively involved on the leadership team of the "C4 Men's Ministry" of FBCLC. Bro. Lane is a graduate of Gulf Coast Bible College, and has served as an associate pastor and Christian school principal for many years in southeast Texas. He especially enjoys the study of scripture and sharing its practical truths with others. Bro. Lane and his wife Cheryl love their large and growing family. Together they enjoy family time, reading, travel, and serving the Lord while serving others.
SUZANNE ROPER / CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR
Suzanne Roper was born and raised in East Texas. After graduating from Sabine High School, she completed her Associates from Kilgore College before finishing her degree at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. It was while at SNU that Suzanne met her husband Mont Roper. Suzanne completed her studies with degrees in History and Education. Over the years, Suzanne has taught at all levels of public school including elementary, middle school and high school. After a few years at home to enjoy her four daughters Bethani, Eliza, Keelie and Marlie, Suzanne is currently serving as the Children’s Director for FBCLC. Suzanne is passionate about children’s ministry and sharing God’s word in a fun and engaging way. Suzanne, Mont and the girls are avid campers, and love to explore the beauty of God's creation.
PIERCE GIBSON / YOUTH MINISTER AND ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Pierce grew up in Mount Vernon, MO where he met his wife Alex. They were high school sweethearts and were married in June 2016. Pierce attended Southwest Baptist University and received his Bachelors in Biblical Studies. While attending school, he served as Youth Pastor for First Baptist Church of Pierce City from December 2014 to May 2018. Pierce enjoys working with his hands, hunting, working out, spending time with family, and taking his wife on dates. Pierce wants to be a presence in the life of his students and his community.
