As worship leaders, remember: Music is not what we do....music is how we do what we do.
— Jack Jones

Pentecost Sunday was such a blessing!  The orchestra began the day playing "Beautiful One" - and even with some players missing, did a great job.  The church worshiped Jesus with some great songs of praise, the pastor brought a great message on life in the Holy Spirit and then we had a great fellowship lunch in the gym. Over $9,340 was given for our Crisis Fund in our annual Pentecost Offering.  It was indeed a great day to "rejoice, remember and give."

Next Sunday we'll begin the day with the choir singing "The Church of the Living God."  I hope you'll join me in bringing your best praise to the Lord's house as we worship together.  We'll sing "He Keeps Me Singing," "Our God," "Wonderful Merciful Savior" and other great songs.  We'll once again observe the ordinance of baptism.  Pastor will preach the Word.....and our hearts respond both in word and in action.  I'm looking forward to another great Sunday.

It's hard to believe, but Vacation Bible School is just a week away!  Suzanne and all the workers are busy getting ready, and we expect a great time on THE GREAT TREASURE HUNT.   As you know, this is one of our greatest outreach times during the year.  Will you join us in praying that the Lord will do His life-changing work in young lives!
