Worship doesn’t happen when a guy gets on stage with a guitar. It happens when faith-filled eyes behold the glory of Christ.
— Matt Pappa

Let me say a word of thank to you for allowing us to take a few days off last week to go to Alabama.  We had a wonderful time with little Molly Kate....and with her parents, of course!  What a joy it was to be back home last Sunday to worship with our church family.  I'm always amazed at how our choir and orchestra are able to come together on Sunday and do such a marvelous job of leading the congregation in praise even on those weeks when we do not have a Wednesday rehearsal.  Thank you again, dear ones!

Next Sunday will be a special day as we observe the Lord's Supper in our morning service.  The choir will join Cindy Kulak in singing one of my favorite communion songs, "Remember and Proclaim."  We do not have rehearsals this Wednesday due to our Vacation Bible School, so I hope you'll make your best effort to meet in the choir room at 10:00 a.m. - right after Sunday School - to run over the song a couple of times.  Bro. Tim will be leading our worship time this Sunday - please pray for him as he prepares and leads.

Will you also pray for me as I lead the worship services at FBC Idabel, Oklahoma this Sunday.  Deb and I are diligently seeking the Lord in this and trusting that He will make His perfect purposes known.  To have a church family praying for us in this time means more than I can tell you - we love you.
