Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world.

Wow, what a Resurrection Celebration that was!  I could never thank you enough for the way you ministered this past Sunday as you sang and played.  It was such a joy to see the church engaged in worship as we sang to our Risen Lord.  It was such a blessing to both see and hear the choir share with such passion.  It was a thrill to my heart to hear Jennifer sing, "But on that day....."  To witness baptism, to hear the message of the resurrection clearly preached - what a great day it was!

We are beginning our post-Easter/summer semester for choir and orchestra this week.  We are busy right now working on the schedule and setting the songs that we'll be singing and playing over the next four months.  Next Wednesday, we'll introduce the new music and schedule for May-August 2017.  I'm excited about the new music as well as some old friends that we'll be singing and playing in the coming weeks.  Let me encourage you to keep on doing what you're doing....make it a priority to join us each Wednesday night for rehearsal worship and fellowship.  This would be a great time to invite someone to come with you!

Next Sunday we'll begin the Lord's Day with the choir singing "I'll Put On A Crown."  Clyde will sing the solo and we'll fill in the blanks!  Can't wait to worship with you this Sunday!
