If Jesus rose from the dead, then you have to accept all that he said; if he didn’t rise from the dead, then why worry about any of what he said? The issue on which everything hangs is not whether or not you like his teaching, but whether or not he rose from the dead.
— Timothy J. Keller

Holy Week is here, and we began with a great Palm Sunday celebration.  What a great job the choir and Tim did singing "Hosanna" last Sunday!  I want to especially say thanks to Coila and Jeff for doing such a masterful job accompanying us on that difficult song!  The service was great, and I especially enjoyed our seeing our children march around the worship center with their palm branches.  Then on Sunday evening we had a very good business meeting where the upcoming renovations to our audio/video equipment was explained and discussed.  We'll be voting on the proposed work to be done on Sunday, April 23 in the evening service.  Please let me or one of our worship committee folks know if you have any questions about the equipment, the cost or if you just want to share your thoughts.

We'll meet this Friday at 6:30 pm for our annual Good Friday observance.  This service is a time where we remember the sacrifice of our Lord for us and confess our sins in anticipation of the resurrection...Christ's resurrection from the dead and our resurrection through Him.  Next Sunday, will be one of the great celebrations of the year as we gather together for Easter.  The choir will begin the day with "One Holy Morning" and then later will sing "Yahweh."   We'll also sing favorites old and new like "Majesty," "Low in the Grave He Lay" and "For the Cross."  I can't wait!
