Worship is not traditional or contemporary: It is a way of life, not a style or preference.

It was another wonderful Sunday at FBCLC, beginning with the choir singing "New Day Dawning."  What a great job everyone!  It was so good to see the choir almost filled with smiling folks lifting up praise to our Lord.  Great job, orchestra - you all bless me more than I could ever tell you.

This weekend our annual church campout will be going on at Beaver's Bend and over 150 of our folks will be there this Sunday.  Since some of those are in our orchestra, we are taking a rare holiday for orchestra this Sunday.  Choir will still sing, so join us at 10 a.m. in the choir room as we prepare for another great time of worship.  Remember, we will not have rehearsals next Wednesday, March 15 as we take a little spring break.  When we return, we'll be moving rapidly toward Palm Sunday and Easter.  I'm excited about the outstanding music we'll be sharing during that special season of the church year.  We're singing "Hosanna" on Palm Sunday, then we'll do "One Holy Morning" and "Yahweh" on Easter Sunday.  On Easter, the orchestra will start the service with "He Lives" and later in the service we'll sing the new song "For the Cross" that we introduced last month.  Great stuff!

"Let the saints be joyful in glory.  Let them sing aloud on their beds.  Let the high praise of God be in their mouths and a two-edged sword in their hands."  Psalm  149:5
