Great work last Sunday Choir and Orchestra! Our orchestra started the day with "Nothing But the Blood" and did a splendid job. Then the choir sang "Cry Holy" - and what a great job you did. Thank you, Chelsey for blessing our hearts as you sang! Our pastor encouraged us in both the morning and evening services with a reminder that God is greatly concerned with His glory. We have the privilege of being involved in reflecting that glory when we worship Him together through song. That thought ought to motivate us to sing and play and preach and pray with all this is within us! I'm so grateful to be a part of a congregation that exists "For the Glory of God Alone."
This Sunday will be BACK THE BLUE Sunday in our church . It's going to be a special day as we honor our law enforcement officers and first responders in our morning service. I'm looking forward to hearing our guest preacher, Leroy Fountain as he bring the Word of God to us this week. Leroy is a church strategist from New Orleans and is a great friend of our pastor. I believe we are going to be blessed as he challenges us from the Word. I'm also looking forward to hearing our orchestra start the service with a favorite, "When the Saints Go Marching In."
Christmas cd's are ready! I hope you'll get yours and begin working on the music that we'll be singing in our CHRISTMAS WITH KERON musical on December 11. It's going to be a great night to invite someone you know who needs a message of hope - the hope that is only found in Jesus.
