Worship begins and ends with God.
— Brandon Dempsey

Our students had a truly wonderful weekend with DNow 2016 - a great host of kids were here learning and worshiping together.  We got to taste a little of that on Sunday morning as the DNow team, with Reid Johnson preaching and Blake Kelch leading our praise, led our morning worship service.  They will also be with our students in our summer camp and our folks are excited to once again share in times of worship with them.  We do so appreciate the outstanding work Bro. Tim does with our kids.

Night of Praise is quickly approaching.  We have our regular rehearsal this week and then next Wednesday, Apr. 27, we'll meet at Woodland Hills BC in Longview for a joint rehearsal.  We will be taking a bus for that night leaving at 6 p.m.  Then on Sunday, May 1, we'll meet at 3 p.m. (bus from the church will leave at 2:30) at the church in Longview for rehearsal, light supper at the church at 5 p.m. then the Night of Praise at 6 p.m.  I know the schedule makes for a short day on Sunday, but I believe you'll be blessed far greater by being a part of this worship experience.

I'm looking forward to a great day this Sunday as the orchestra starts the day with "10,000 Reasons."  The choir will also be singing "I Am Determined."  We will have Dr. Deron Biles preaching in our morning service.  With our pastor and his family on vacation, we are so happy to once again welcome Dr. Biles.  He is a dean at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth and is a tremendous preacher.  I'm also looking forward to hearing our own Bro. Tim Coop preaching in the evening service.  Join us for a great time in worship!
