God’s purpose in redemption is to make worshipers out of rebels.
— A. W. Tozer

What a great Sunday!  Thank you, orchestra for the great call to worship and thank you, choir and childrens choir for sharing "Be Unto Your Name" in such a marvelous way.  There is no way to express how you bless me week in and week out as you lead our church in giving praise to our Lord.  I was in Sulphur Springs on Sunday evening helping to lead in an area wide evangelism conference.  Thank you, Walter Tehan for doing such a great job leading our folks here in worship.   I'm already looking forward to next Sunday when the choir will open the service with "When the Holy Ghost Shows Up."  Our pastor will be sharing another message in the PRIORITIES series - and you might have guessed this week he'll be preaching on the Holy Spirit.  Of course, a number of our folks will be in Oklahoma for the annual church campout, but I believe we can still fill the choir loft with praise this Sunday

Next week is Spring Break, so we'll take a week off from rehearsals.  We WILL still sing and play on Sunday!  Can you believe that two weeks from Sunday will be Palm Sunday and only three weeks until Easter?  Wow, it's early this year!  In case you are not aware, we will have choir and orchestra rehearsals on the Wednesday before Easter this year.  Also, our Good Friday service has been moved from noon to 6:30 p.m. on March 25.  I'm looking forward to celebrating the resurrection with you.

We are taking a special offering this Wednesday night to help with expenses for a mission trip next week.  Three of our men, Roy Dudley, Jimmy Stroupe and Bill Furrh will be delivering our big church bus to its new home on the Apache Reservation near McNary, AZ.  The men will leave on Friday, drive 18 hours to Arizona then fly back on Sunday night.  I am excited that we have this opportunity to help build the Kingdom - give as you can to help.
