Gratitude is the gateway to worship.
— Buddy Owens

What a great day last Sunday was!  I was so thrilled to see the great number in our morning worship service.  It seems that the Sunday after our Ladies Tea is always just a special time of worship, and this past Sunday was no exception.  Our Ladies Ministry worship team with Julie, Sheila and Cindy knocked it out of the park singing "Open Up the Heavens."  Thanks, Ladies!  Jennifer and choir did a great job introducing the new worship song "I Will Exalt" - I'm looking forward to singing it again very soon.  The orchestra added such a wonderful sound to the music.  The preaching of the word was awesome and the fellowship was sweet.....well, it was just good!

Next Sunday we'll begin the service with the orchestra playing a new arrangement of "Revive Us Again."  Later in the service the choir will sing "Keeper and Sustainer" and our pastor will preach from Psalm 121.  I believe it is going to be another glorious day in worship.

Four rehearsals before Christmas musical!  I'm pleased with the progress we are making as we prepare for "Home for Christmas" on Dec. 13.  Orchestra folks, remember our rehearsal on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 9:30 a.m. Our drama group will be rehearsing this Sunday after the morning service as well.  May I ask you to pray that the Lord will place on your heart someone who needs the message of this musical?  Pray for them, invite them to come - then see what the Lord may do!
